Will Google ban websites for having duplicate content?

Post by Yagesh

Most people asking the question ” Will Google ban websites for having duplicate content? ” For duplicate contents, there is no Google ban. For example, if you take an article from the Associated Press and post this on your blog you will not be punished with something like a Google Manual Action Google does filter duplicate content from its search results. When two or more content items are substantially similar Google can pick a canonical URL (source) to show the search results and hide duplicates. This isn’t a penalty. Google is filtering to display only one version of a searcher’s experience information.

Whatever copying someones hard work and post that on your website it is a very bad thing. so don’t do that also you can’t get Adsense approval for duplicate content. that means you can’t earn money.

The Lowest rating is appropriate if all or almost all of the MC (main content) on the page is copied with little or no time, effort, expertise, manual curation, or added value for users. Such pages should be rated Lowest, even if the page assigns credit for the content to another source.
